Today, for whatever reason, urinary incontinence problems can be seen in many adults. This unwanted condition appears more frequently, especially as age advances. In women in particular, urinary incontinence can occur after frequent or difficult deliveries, menopause, removal of the uterus and other gynaecological operations. The greatest cause of this is the descent of the bladder for some reason and weakening and tearing in the ligaments that hold the bladder neck.

However, thanks to the robotic surgical method developed in recent years, this condition can be eliminated. What is more, this method has many advantages over traditional open treatment methods. With a robotic touch the condition causing the urinary incontinence is eliminated and in this way this problem can be prevented.

In Which Situations Is the Robot Used in the Treatment of Urinary Incontinence?

Especially if there is an additional myoma, tube, ovarian or prolapse condition, the treatment of urinary incontinence can also be carried out with robotic surgery in the same operation. And again, all the advantages of robotic surgery such as less pain, early discharge and rapid recovery are present here too.

Let’s decide on the right approach for you together

After your examination and imaging, we will discuss clearly whether robotic surgery is suitable for you.
