da Vinci robotic surgical system
The robot does not perform the operation — the surgeon does. The system filters out tremor from the surgeon’s hand movements at the console and transfers them to the robotic arms; thanks to 3D vision magnified up to 10 times, details in the narrow pelvic space that the naked eye cannot distinguish become visible.
- 3D vision, magnified 10 times
- Arms that rotate through a wider angle than the human wrist
- Millimetre-precise, tremor-filtered movement
- Small incisions, faster recovery
