General Information

Pregnancy cannot occur when the tubes have previously been tied surgically, when they are blocked because of past infections, or as a result of the accumulation of fluid and infective fluid inside them. It is possible for the tubes to be opened surgically so that they can function again.

In robotic surgery the imaging can be magnified more than in laparoscopic imaging. Thanks to the three-dimensional image and high resolution, the tubes, which are small, can be evaluated far more clearly. Thanks to the fact that the robot’s camera does not tremble, that the robot’s arms do not transmit the surgeon’s hand tremors to the instruments in the surgical field, and to the multidirectional movement of the arms, reopening the tubes with microsurgery or suturing the cut ends to one another is performed far more easily and successfully.
